Meet The Tiny Duckie

Hi! I am SO happy you are here. I'm Melissa!

I married my very best friend Phil in 2017. We are both originally from Louisiana and met there in 2015, before moving to Orange County, California together after only dating for 4ish months - but that's a whole other story! We now live in The Woodlands, TX and have been in the Houston area since 2018.

In 2024 I became a mama to a precious baby girl named Ella Grace. I think every mom can remember the first time they saw and heard their baby. It’s the most surreal experience seeing your heart outside your body. When I heard my Ella girl’s voice, I couldn’t believe how squeaky she was. In my epidural haze (IYKYK) she sounded like a rubber duck, so right away she became my Duckie. ♡ It’s my special name for her and our whole family has picked up on it.

The Tiny Duckie is named in honor of my Ella, who inspired my love for embroidery and personalizing ALL of the things! I am so excited to bring this dream to life and I am grateful to all of you for being here. I hope you love what you see!
